‘La Route des pêches’ is a 40 km trunk road along the Atlantic coast in the south of Benin connecting Cotonou to Ouidah. In addition to the attractions and entertainment offered along the beaches, ‘La Route des pêches’ is where outdoor sports enthusiasts meet, especially on weekends, to get in good shape. And as the name suggests, along the road, there are fish markets where you can find several fishermen, fish sellers and buyers.
By this special road lie hundreds of art galleries, voodoo worship sites and lots of historic sites to visit.
